Ok ok, I'm impatient! A wise man would save his Turbine points until things go on sale (and with a sale starting every Thursday it never takes too long until the main things that you want become available). Bah! I had my Turbine Points from the Helms Deep expansion, plus a bit of a store of VIP monthly points, and decided to splash out on the Journeyman riding trait for my main account. Don't get me wrong, it was well worth the investment, as I have so many characters and couldn't bring myself to do the Bree horse quest again(!). I would however much rather have paid the 20% less that I would have got if I hadn't splashed out earlier in the week. Ne'er mind, maybe I'll learn (no I won't!).
Gaming-wise, the Journeys of Pashbo continued over on Gilrain, with him taking a trip through the Old Forest as far as Tom Bombadil's house. I managed to get there without getting incredibly lost like I usually do! The great thing about when you try and do something like replicating the Frodo journey is that you notice the attention to detail that Turbine have paid to the general directions in the map, as well as all those great little references you get to small sub-plots in the quest lines.
Finally, over on Laurelin I finished the Dwalling claims with Chumbly. As I had said that I didn't plan for him to go too far outside the borders of the Shire, I decided to send him back to Michel Delving on completion. Future leveling will be purely achieved through Festivals and crafting. I then logged on to Thangpash the Dwarf and ran him through the first of the Nogland quests before getting so tired that I had to stop.
I'll finish my ale and head off to sleep me thinks. Whilst pondering on what I could have done with that extra 20%!
