I thought it would be nice to use a blog to explain what a few of the Pash (and other) characters have been doing, as there is only so much time available in the Vidcast each week.
Well the big news this week has to be the fact that Helms Deep is now available for purchase. We will be giving an overview hopefully of some of the cosmetics in this weeks vidcast. I couldn't decide whether to get the basic edition or the premium one, but when you have as many alts as I have, the lure of that 25% extra XP shield was too much, and I quickly settled on the premium. Plus the shield looks very cool (even though most of my people already have a set look, so won't have it on show).
Gaming-wise, last night, as with most Friday's when I'm not out singing in the RL band, I hopped on to Laurelin, and took Chumbly out for a pint or two at the Floating Log in Frogmorton, which is the temporary home of Green Dragon Friday whilst the Farmers Faire is underway. Actually he had much more than two pints, as I accidentally purchased 50 pints (a very similar incident occurred once in RL.......). There is such a great atmosphere over on Laurelin - everyone is really friendly and gets in to the spirit of it. The music and poems by Lina and co were as entertaining as ever. Plus Chumbly has a bit of a budding romance going on. It must be his ginger hair!
Aside from that, I have been trying to help poor little Gilrain server reach its bounder tokens limit! It is the lowest populated server, but the first place I went to and hosts a large number of the Pash family! My drunken dwarf Pashili has been doing festival quests, which little hobbit Pashodo has then been taking the credit for in terms of handing in bounder tokens. I know not everyone is keen, but the Farmers Faire is one of my favourite of the festivals.
Tomorrow most of the day will be spend on the Vidcast. There is a hobbit poem to record, as well as the next Big Burrow. I wonder who will be evicted this week? Actually I have a good idea who it will be! That drunken dwarf Pashili also promised that we would show off some of the goodies available at the Faire, so we better put something together on that too!
And on that note I will sign off from my short ramblings, and get in game. I better get my value for money with that XP boost!
